Bill Stuart Tries - September 18

What it is: Organic Sunbutter

How do I get me some: Available at Thrifty Foods.

Reaction: Now, I loves me some peanut butter; always have, always will. But my tastebuds were shaken awhile back when I was on an airplane and happened to wrap my lips around some delicious sunflower butter. It’s certainly a more subtle flavour than peanut butter, but quite delicious at the same time. I was then excited to see the Sunbutter brand on the shelves at my local Thriftys. I’m certainly not giving up on peanut butter for good, but the Sunbutter is a nice switch up from time to time. Nothing quite like an SB&J;sandwich! And in these peanut-allergy-crazed times, Sunbutter is certainly a good choice for parents and kids alike.

Would I try it again: The quickly diminishing jar in the fridge says yes!

New products and ideas hit the shelves and streets every day and Bill Stuart is going to do his darnedest to try them all. Got something interesting you want Bill to eat/drink/apply/try? Keep it legal kids and no, I won’t try girls! Send suggestions and/or samples of products and/or activities to bills@mondaymag.com
